Alpine Auto Auction of Gaylord, LLC is owned and operated by Jack Sampson. Jack opened his business in February of 2011 after months of renovations and repairs. 35 years of automotive experience is what Jack brought with him when opening the auction.  Prior to opening Alpine Auto Auction Jack worked as a manager for another northern auction. His previous experience is what has made Jack a success. The dealers have come to know him as a fair and honest business man.

Alpine Auto Auction employs approximately 40 people from sales, front desk, accounting, detail, transportation, GSA and management staff. The staff is always training and learning new technology to keep up with the demands of the dealer world.  A team approach is what we strive to maintain as we share the same common goal. CUSTOMER SERVICE!

The auction has ten (10) plus secured acres of property with an additional four (4) acres for new growth. Alpine Auto Auction is comfortably housed in a 10,000 square foot building that is surrounded by an asphalt parking lot. We have a kitchen onsite and offer both breakfast and lunch on sale days. The building has three (3) auction lanes that are all equipped with sound systems and heat.

Alpine Auto Auction is currently working under a GSA contract allowing us to sell government fleet vehicles on a monthly basis. This account brings dealers from across the US in search of well-maintained fleet lease vehicles. We are always looking to add new fleet lease accounts to the business as we have the buyers coming for that specific market.
